Sarah (@sarahinyellow), a body image coach, received flack for her gym fashion in a TikTok video.

Dressed in a cropped top and shorts, she diligently hit the gym.

Trolls, however, weren’t happy to see her tummy out and about.

“It doesn’t need to be on display for people to see,” said one commenter.

Sarah didn’t care for the comment, instantly defending herself and her right to dress how she wanted to.

“My natural body isn’t something to hide,” she said.

She filmed herself taking a stroll around her gym’s perimeter, passing by fellow gymgoers.

“Belly out lap around my gym because I’ll never be ashamed of what my body looks like,” she said.

“My body is a gym body!”

Her viewers agreed that there was an unspoken double standard.

“But when it’s abs, it’s okay to be on display for people?” said one commenter.

“So it’s ‘Your stomach doesn’t belong in your pants’ but also ‘It doesn’t have to be on display,’ literally what do they want?” said another.

Many were inspired by her candidness.

“Your content is genuinely helping me heal years and years, a whole lifetime, of shame,” said one fan.
