The star recently landed the role of Rowan on the programme as part of an eye-opening new storyline with Leanne Battersby.
Last week, viewers saw Leanne attending a wedding show at the Chariot Square Hotel where she meets the charming Rowan from The Institute.
However Rowan isn’t all he seems and he’s set to tempt Leanne into his club.
It will see Leanne entangled within his cult as her romance to Nick Tilsely comes under strain.
Worst of all, Nick does not even become jealous of their close bond and is happy with the fact that the pair spend a lot of time together.
However, this is not Emrhys’ first role in the spotlight with the acting heavyweight having enjoyed an A-list lifestyle already.
The 39 year old has enjoyed a varied career as an actor, dancer, singer-songwriter and an artist during his years in the spotlight.
His career has taken him stateside where he has played roles in legendary shows such as Desperate Housewives and CSI: NY.
Emrhys also appeared in Mamma Mia! during his career that saw him travel across the globe as a performer.
He made his West End debut at the age of 21 appearing in the famed Queen musical We Will Rock You having already undertook a role in the national UK tour of Fame – The Musical.
As a model and dancer, the star was booked to appear with major acts including Madonna, the Pussycat Dolls and Christina Aguilera.
He also famously portrayed the ‘lift boy’ in the music video for the Sugababes number one hit, Push The Button.
His dancing even took him to world-famous live shows including The X Factor, America’s Got Talent and the MTV EMAs.
In 2013, he even attempted to turn his hand to being the performer when he released his debut solo single Hypnotized though it failed to make an impact on any major music chart.
Emrhys is not the only member of his family to enjoy a brush with fame.
His sister Fleur was an early reality TV star when she appeared in the 2003 ITV2 programme Million Dollar Babes.
The show followed the lives of a slew of young girls as they worked as nightclub promoters and hostesses in some of the UK’s top clubbing venues.
Fleur’s role on the show was to source ‘tequila girls’ for nightclub events.
