The Love Island star was the fourth celeb to get the boot, while Louis Walsh, Fern Britton and David Potts were saved.
The cast looked visibly shocked when Ekin’s name was called out and so did she after previously winning the ITV2 dating show off the back of her popularity.
Discussing her surprise exit, one person wrote: “There’s no way David got more votes than Ekin the votes have been edited.”
You haven’t seen everything, they cut stuff out.
Ekin on her time on the show
A second said: “desperately trying to fix it so that they get value for money for spending so much on Louis Walsh.”
While a third added: “Ekin Su has some die hard fans out there and she brings some drama, I can’t believe she went.”
On this years show, fans get the chance to vote to save their favourite – not vote to evict like they have in the past.
Speaking after her exit, Ekin said she felt her fellow contestants did not think she was being herself during her time on the show.
Not happy
Appearing on ITV‘s Celebrity Big Brother Late and Live show after being evicted, she said: “I don’t think people knew that I was being myself, and I don’t think people connected with me as if I was being myself.”
The 29-year-old said she felt that “is fair” because of her past on Love Island, but added “you should never judge a person on their past”.
She said: “You can’t predict life and just because I won Love Island, doesn’t mean you win every show.
“Just because you win once doesn’t mean you win another one and another one, just because you have a fan base.”
As the conversation continued, Ekin who was upset when she was nominated by CBB pal Marish Wallac, blamed the edit for her eviction during the spinoff Late & Live show.
She said: “You haven’t seen everything, they cut stuff out.”
But host AJ Odudu replied: “You’ve literally just walked out of the house, you can’t have seen what’s been shown.”
