The This Morning star is not one to shy away from her emotions but the constant tears have led viewers to reach their limit.
Many fans have flocked to social media to share their thoughts about Fern’s tear-ups.
Taking to X, formerly Twitter, one person wrote: “Why is Fern crying every time they show her… she’s so dull.”
Another said: “Fern crying every 2 minutes..”
A third added: “Does Fern ever stop crying.”
“Why is Fern crying all the time?! Get a grip woman” a fourth penned.
It comes after Fern broke down after Sharon Osbourne snubbed her in an eviction vote.
Sharon said her decision was because there was an age divide in the house.
Fern soon went to the diary room and teared up while discussing Sharon’s decision.
The presenter said she understood Sharon’s reasons and added: “This is a game and it’s been fun. I am loving people. It’s an experience, a great experience, for an oldie, an old timer.”
However, some fans think her tears were tactical in a bid to get herself saved from eviction.
Elsewhere, Louis Walsh was slammed by CBB fans for his treatment towards Fern in the ‘You’re Gonna Be A Star’ task.
The housemates were split into boy and girl groups and performed for the judging panel – Sharon Osbourne, Louis, Nikita Kuzmin and Marisha Wallace.
Before the performance, Big Brother asked if Fern could be a star, to which Louis jumped in and said: “No.”
He added: “I don’t think she’s right for the girl group… Well she’s older.”
Fans were also left raging when Louis made a cruel comment about Fern in the bedroom.
As he looked at Ekin-Su, Zeze, Lauren and Fern, he confessed: “I love the way they look.
“Even Fern looks good.”
Last night, Lauren Simon became the second housemate to be evicted from the Celebrity Big Brother house.
Fern had been up for nomination alongside Louis Walsh, but she escaped being given the boot.
Celebrity Big Brother line-up
Who are the 13 stars appearing in the Celebrity Big Brother house? The Sun’s Jamie Downham takes a look…
Louis Walsh – Irish boyband manager who has never knowingly backed down from a fight and is not above pulling rank over the double bed
Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu – As we know from Love Island, the Ek-ster is capable of throwing about some dramatics to claw her way to the final
Levi Roots – Reggae Reggae Sauce sauce packs a bit of a kick, but its inventor seems quite mild-mannered. Will that change under pressure?
Fern Britton – The former This Morning star called out Phillip Schofield – don’t think she won’t do the same to anyone who tangles with her
Colson Smith – You’ll probably know him best as Corrie’s Craig Tinker – but prepare to find out he’s not much like his character
David Potts – Ibiza Weekender’s breakout star has left that show behind – as well as his trousers by the look of things
Gary Goldsmith – Kate Middleton’s uncle is a big signing for ITV, but has proved a divisive booking among viewers
Marisha Wallace – It’s not CBB without the role of ‘American who doesn’t know what they’ve let themselves in for’ and she’s doing brilliantly
Nikita Kuzmin – The Strictly pro is coming onto the show fresh off the show’s tour. Poor lad probably just wants a rest
Zeze Mills – the social media star has a “no holds barred interview style” – and she hasn’t backed away from calling people (well, Louis) out
Bradley Riches – The actor played kindly James McEwan in Netflix hit Heartstopper and he seems just as sweet in the house
Lauren Simon – She’s a Real Housewives of Cheshire star and you really don’t get on that show by being shy and retiring
