In an exclusive chat with The Sun on the Celebrity Big Brother Breakdown podcast, Kim went into detail, and revealed: “I’ve met Fern, she is a lovely person.
“She’s gentle and soft but she’s had a lot of sadness in her private life and in her working life and she has been done the dirty.
“She’s a soft and gentle soul who is trying to fit in.”
Kim added that she’d like her co-star to win the show, adding: “I’ll tell you something, of all the people in there I believe she’d be absolutely over the moon to win.

“It’d be something in her life to say ‘I’ve won,’ because in her personal life and working life she’s lost and lost, and she hasn’t deserved it.
“For her to win the show I’d be thrilled. Don’t think she will, but I wish she would.”
This week, Fern stunned viewers as she sparked a feud with a pop legend, branding him “dull as dishwater.”
Talking about Gary Barlow, Fern said to her fellow housemates: “”He wrote the music for Calendar Girls: The Musical. We went out on tour with that. He’d had no personality. He had to have his particular water, particular teabags and particular blah blah blah – never touched any of it of course. And disappeared.”
Sharon Osbourne responded: “Disappointing.”
Fern continued: “Very disappointing. I’m sure he’s lovely. But he was dull as ditchwater.”
Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu chimed in and said: “Gary Barlow? I think he’s great. I don’t know him but I’ve met him and he was lovely to me.”
And during her time in the house Fern has spoken about her former This Morning colleague Phillip Schofield too, as well as taking a swipe at her ex-husband Phil Vickery as she told her fellow housemates she was “no one’s wife.”
Fern was singing after being chosen by Sharon Osbourne to face Tuesday’s eviction.
She sang: “I’ve got a life, I’ve got a life…. thank god I’m nobody’s wife!”
Fern and Phil, who married in 2000, shocked the showbiz world when they announced their split in 2020.
The TV star previously spoke about the reason for their split, telling Woman and Home mag: “We simply needed to follow our own paths.
“Over time we realised we weren’t necessarily having the kind of life we once did.
“It seemed right to say ‘thank you’ and move on. But we do have a good friendship.
“Phil and I had the greatest fun together and we have the most beautiful daughter together, Winnie… so we will always be connected.”
Phil was previously caught smooching her best pal Lorraine Stanton two years after their split.
