ALL eyes will be on the prize fund as Championship League snooker comes to a close this week.

Some of the world’s best snooker players have been battling it out over the past few weeks, hoping to make it to the Winners’ Group.

The aim of the game is simple, win as many frames and games as possible and you’ll win a bigger pot of cash.

Each frame has a monetary value as do highest breaks – there’s a combined £1,500 prize for whoever can crack the highest break in both the group stages and the Winners’ Group.

Championship League Snooker prize money

Here’s the full Championship League prize money breakdown:

Groups 1-7

  • Winner: £3,000
  • Runner-up: £2,000
  • Semi-final: £1,000
  • Frame win (league stage): £100
  • Frame win (play-offs): £300
  • Highest break: £500

Winners’ Group

  • Winner: £10,000
  • Runner-up: £5,000
  • Semi-final: £3,000
  • Frame win (league stage): £200
  • Frame win (play-offs): £300
  • Highest break: £1,000

The maximum possible tournament total fund is £205,000 (if all matches are 3-2).

And the minimum possible tournament total is £152,800 (if all matches are 3-0).

Kyren Wilson, for example, has already won a combined £19,950 from the Championship League for winning frames, group nights and scoring highest breaks – including three maximums.
