It will also reportedly include Bentley, Aston Martin and Bugatti in the future.
The engine is still located at the rear but the V8 that powers the Corvette C8, on which this speedboat is based, has been replaced with 1.8-litre unit.
It boasts an impressive top speed of 62mph (54 knots) and that’s more than enough on water.
Sergi Galiano got a chance to drive it in Dubai and told SupercarBlondie it was “unlike anything I’ve ever seen before”.
Posting footage of the drive on YouTube, he said: “This is one of the newest luxury billionaire toys in Dubai and the world’s first water supercar.”
Stunning video showed the lime green car racing around the coastline with a powerful roar.
The cabin still looks like a car and you’ve got a gear lever, a steering wheel, a gas pedal but no brakes.
All you have to do to is lift the throttle and the laws of physics will do the rest.
There are buttons on the dashboard to control things like running lights and main cabin lights.
And the sleek hybrid motor also boasts windshield wipers to help battle against the spray.
Meanwhile, GPS and radar have been installed on the motor to make sure you never lose your way.
Sergi added: “To be honest you get less wet than you do on a jetski and you stay dry the majority of the time.
“But every now and then you get a wave that comes over the windshield and drenches you!”
The ‘SpeedboatVette‘ is estimated to cost up to £38,886 ($50,000), but you can also rent one for about £544 an hour.
It comes after a James Bond-style motor that clock speeds of 70mph went under the hammer for £70,000.
The classic 1962 Amphicar 770 can also perform on water, where it can chalk up an impressive seven knots in the sea, lakes or rivers.
It also comes complete with life jackets and paddles in the event of an emergency, and automatically locks its doors when it reaches port.
A note on the dashboard reads: “Warning! Before boating.
“Pit bilge plug in, secure front luggage deck, use lower locks to seal doors.”
The motor draws parallels with aquatic car Wet Nellie, which featured in the 1977 James Bond film The Spy Who Loved Me.
