Jeremy Hunt says the Spring Budget is a “decisive step” towards lower taxes.
Speaking to the BBC’s Political Editor Chris Mason, the chancellor agreed that people are paying more tax.
Mr Hunt added that next year would see a “big cut” in tax for “families earning the average income”.
