And now they’ve shared the very exciting news that they’ll be welcoming a baby boy in June.

Revealing the gender to The Sun, and on their new podcast ­­Now We’re Talking Baby, the couple shared their delight at having a baby boy, adding that they felt like they’d “known they were having a baby boy all along.”  

Cam, 27, said it feels “a lot more real,” after the couple found out the baby’s gender.

They opted to do it by cutting through a cake while filming for their new podcast with their production team watching on, as opposed to throwing a lavish gender reveal bash with family and friends.

Sharing the details of how they discovered they’re having a boy, Emily, 29, explained: “I just knew it was a boy straight away. We were referring to bump as ‘him’, and we both just had a strong feeling.

“We ended up going for a 20 week scan with the NHS, and we were always going to have a cake done and to do that they needed to put our results in an envelope, but the NHS refused to do that – maybe in case it’s wrong or something like that.

“So we ended up waiting another week to go private and they then put the results in an envelope for us and we went to the baker and had a cake made and then announced it on the first episode of our podcast.”

The couple added that trying not to open the gender reveal envelope was “really hard.”

“I had to take it off Emily,” Cam shared, adding: “I was sat with the envelope between my legs thinking ‘we could just open this right now.’”

The couple have been brainstorming baby names, previously joking that they’d choose Lana for a girl, in reference to the iconic cone in Too Hot To Handle.

Emily and Cam went on to say that they could do a play on words and reshuffle Lana to Alan instead, seeing as they’re having a baby boy.

And the pair, who told their family and friends the gender right away, can’t wait to become first time parents, with Cam sharing that he plans to watch Marvel, Star Wars and Harry Potter with his little one.

Emily quipped: “Cam isn’t the sporty type though, so I’m not sure we’ll have the fittest of kids.”

It comes after Emily opened up about having an ectopic pregnancy in June 2022.

The star was rushed to hospital after feeling indescribable pain in her stomach, where she underwent emergency surgery.

At the time, she said: “I’m in a lot of pain and bed bound after the surgery but mentally it’s been even harder.”

Emily discussed whether her ectopic pregnancy had led her to feel nervous about being pregnant this time around, and shared that she’d had “doubts and concerns” at the very beginning.

She said: “Luckily, it has been smooth sailing this time. We went and did an early pregnancy test at about seven weeks and then as soon as we got the all clear and found out everything was perfect and healthy, we were then able to relax.

“We were apprehensive to begin with, that’s for sure.”

After Too Hot To Handle, Cam and Emily exclusively revealed to The Sun that they had been “inseparable” since coming off the show.

“Me and Em have been very much ourselves on that show. We both love each other to bits and she is my best friend,” Cam said.

Fans of the pair were delighted with the news that they were expecting their first baby, and rushed to congratulate them after their sweet reveal.

And Emily hopes to produce lots of “mum content” when their baby boy arrives, and teased a maternity clothing collection coming soon too.

Emily and Cam’s brand new podcast Now We’re Talking Baby will also see the pair chat all things baby with the help of guests and experts, as they experience life as new parents.
