And if you’re a mum taking your kids to nursery – you better listen up.

Taking to social media, one nursery worker revealed the worst thing parents can do that she wishes would stop.

“Things that annoy me working as a nursery practitioner,” she said.

“Unnamed clothes,” was the first issue she comes across.

Of course, it’s normal for kids to need to change clothes at nursery – whether they’ve had an accident or have got into a mess at lunchtime – but not having names int he clothes can make it impossible for nursery workers to know whose clothes are whose.

Another pet peeve of the worker was dedicating hours of work on reviews and two year reports on the kids’ progression – only for parents to complete ignore them.

Next up, she also noted the worst kind of shoes parents can put their tots in for nursery.

It just causes arguments.

“High top shoes,” she said, such as Converse, were an absolute nightmare for her.

“They are so hard to get on,” she explained.

And according to the nursery worker, there’s one thing that grinds her gears more than anything.

I work in a nursery and there’s a type of parent we totally hate – and it’s all down to how you dress your child

While your kid might pester you to bring their toys form home in – the worker urged parents to avoid it all costs as it just causes trouble.

She said: “Toys coming in from home.

“It just causes arguments.”

Last but not least, she revealed she hated when parents didn’t tell them when their sick kids had last had Calpol.

It wasn’t long before the post went viral on her TikTok account @lifeinanursery.

People were quick to share their thoughts in the comments section of the post.

One person wrote: “Pull ups!!! Should be banned!!!!”

Another commented: “No cause that last one really badly irritates me.”

“Kids wearing new or white clothes… also hoodies over zip ups,” penned a third.

Meanwhile a fourth said: “Aww I THRIVE reading my kinds notes and reviews. Literally get so excited when I get a notification.”

“Awww that’s lovely thank you for doing this! They are very often not acknowledged and we spend so long doing them,” the nursery worker replied.

Someone else added: “I usually sell my sons clothes or give to charity and his name being in the clothes will put people off.”
