This savvy mum shares her school holiday hacks for parents on her TikTok page @missanderson76 .
The mum of one shares this particular hack for parents who are in receipt of Universal credit and other eligible benefits, so they can tap into some discounts to ensure the kids don’t miss out on the fun.
Her latest holiday hack is a trip to ZSL London Zoo for as cheap as £3 for each child.
Sharing the good news with other parents on her TikTok she confessed: “Mum knows best.”
“£3 Tickets,” she exclaims. “But that’s only if you’re eligible.
“If not, go with someone who is.”
In order to be eligible for the discounted entry tickets for ZSL London Zoo, you have to be receiving low income benefits such as, Universal Credit, Working Tax Credit, Child Tax Credit, Employment and Support Allowance, Income Support or Jobseeker’s Allowance.
Tickets will need to be pre-booked via the ZSL website in advance and proof of benefit will need to be provided on arrival.
The general admission price for a child to visit London Zoo is usually £23.10 and a whopping £33 for each adult.
But with this reduced rate, a family of four could enjoy a trip to the Zoo this Easter for under £20.
Adult tickets cost £5 and for a child entry is just £3.
The best part is, ZSL isn’t the only place you can nab the deal.
Other attractions that offer a reduced rate for low income families include the Tower of London who offer tickets for a family of six for just £1 each.
And many museums offer similar savings too.
