Schlager’s VAR earpiece featured a camera capturing his view of incidents in the game.
The footage will be on a Bundesliga show but the concept could be utilised by PGMOL in the Prem in future after a similar kit was used during a Chelsea versus Brighton friendly in the USA last July.
One refereeing source said: “It might help fans realise why decisions were taken.”

PREM chief Richard Masters pulled out of a high-profile football conference to try and broker a cash deal between feuding clubs.
Masters was billed as the star turn at today’s FT Business of Football Summit in Mayfair.
But instead, he scheduled an emergency meeting of the 20 Prem clubs half a mile away.
Bosses believe the heat is growing on EFL chairman Rick Parry to come to the table and accept the proposed extra £155million per year set to be offered.
That would take the annual “solidarity” payment to £498m. Some top-flight clubs, though, are reluctant to sign up to the “New Deal”, arguing that the Big Six should pay more.

Masters wants Prem clubs to agree financial rules for future seasons.
He faces pressure to improve the Profitability and Sustainability Rules, which allow £105m losses over three years.
There are also issues over the planned “mirroring” of Uefa’s new squad cost ratio calculations, linking the spend on wages and transfers directly to revenues.
An agreement is set to be rubber-stamped on March 11.

THE apparent U-turn from Uefa president Aleksander Ceferin over staying on until 2031 puts pressure on Olympic chief Thomas Bach to show his hand.
Bach, 70 and a Montreal 1976 fencing gold medallist, is to retire in 2025 as his 12-year maximum reign ends.
But the German still hints at plans to “amend” the Olympic charter, allowing him to stand for a further term.
Ceferin’s surprise news in Paris this month that he is “not planning” to run again in 2027 has seen Olympic insiders urging Bach (below) to follow suit.
One potential replacement is double Olympic 1500m champ Seb Coe — who has his own announcement this week.
Coe, head of World Athletics, will confirm the 2027 world championship hosts during the indoor version in Glasgow.
Istanbul is favourite, with Beijing also contending, unless Coe has a surprise up his sleeve.

DUMBARTON fans might need to prepare for an unlikely VIP visitor at the weekend.
Fifa president Gianni Infantino likes to take in a nearby game after the annual general meeting of the game’s law-making International FA Board.
Last year he hot-footed it from the County Hall in London to watch Millwall.
And with this year’s gathering at Cameron House on the banks of Loch Lomond, the closest match on Saturday is The Sons’ Scottish League Two clash with Peterhead.
