A WOMAN has sparked an outrage when she refused to pay for full manicure because she didn’t like the colour she picked.

Amie Scott has posted a video on her TikTok account Plastic Amie where she admitted to leaving the salon without paying.

Amie bragged about saving the £40 that she refused to pay to the nail salon after disliking the colour of her nails.

She claimed that the salon employees tried to stop her and even tried to keep her car keys but she managed to escape anyways.

Amie continued her story by adding that the salon can argue with her “all they want” but the customer is always right.

She said: “I know it’s my fault because I did choose that colour but at the end of the day if I’m not satisfied, then I’m not gonna pay for it.

“The customer is always right and I am always right anyway because I just am.”

Amie admitted that the salon did “a really good job” but despite that, she still would continue to refuse paying up.

Amie has previously caused havoc online when she joked that she would leave her partner for his son – with many believing her stories.

She has also told fans she’d spent £10,000 transforming herself with surgery and showed off her fish-lips and frozen complexion.

In the most recent video, the woman has earned countless critical comments after she refused to pay for the manicure.

One person even commented that the salon should get the police involved.

People say I’ve butchered my face with surgery and filler but I’m proud of my £10,000 glow up and love my look

But Amie said in the video that she was going on a holiday to the Caribbean on the same day.

“Good luck if they send the police to my house because I am not going to be there.

“I am gonna be in the Caribbean, so I don’t really care,” she said.

Some people were quick to point out that the salons usually ask the customers whether they like the colour after painting one nail, or that she had enough time to voice her distaste.

One user said: “So why didn’t u tell them that u didn’t like the colour after they painted the first couple of nails???”

In response to the backlash, Amie has come up with the explanation.

“They didn’t ask me [about the colour] after the first nail, so it was their fault.

“I was distracted because I have ADHD and I didn’t notice what colour my nails were until all ten of them were painted,” she explained.

Many flooded to the comments to express their fury over the matter.

One person wrote: “This is what over privileged looks like.”

Another added: “You picked the colour, that’s down to you. You are 100% a thief.

“God, imagine getting all upset over nail polish colour.”

A third person said: “I hope they see this TikTok and send it to every nail salon in your area so they make you pay upfront next time.”

Someone else wrote: “Put more thought into your colour choice next time? not their fault. They have families to feed don’t be so selfish.”

Another viewer said: “The customer is not always right. Hope they remember your name for next time you book.”

But some were sceptical if Amie was serious about her story, with some even joining in on the fun.

One user said: “I can’t tell if she’s joking or not.”

Another left a tongue-in-cheek comment, saying: “Should have made them pay you for your time sitting there.”

A third person joked: “You’re right, even though you picked the colour they should’ve known you wouldn’t like it. It’s their fault.”

Someone else pointed out that Amie’s account regularly posts comedy content.

They said: “She’s joking. Look at her other videos. She’s funny.”
