Beis owner Shay Mitchell might have helped make the $108 bag popular, but Sam’s Club has an affordable option with great reviews.
TikToker Amanda Satawa (@mommaeverafter) was on the hunt for a bargain when she went shopping at the membership warehouse.
One of the imitations she stumbled upon was the weekender travel bag by Member’s Mark.
Amanda wrote that it was a “Beis dupe.”
The discounted version costs $49.99 and comes in five colors, though it’s only currently available in ivory and mocha.
The bag has nearly a five-star rating.
“With its sturdy construction, spacious interior, and comfortable straps, this bag is a must-have for any traveler,” one person wrote.
“This is a cute, sturdy bag. It’s roomy so it would make for a great carry-on bag,” a second said.
“Awesome bag with lots of packing room,” a third said.
The original Beis bag is more than double the price but has a five-star rating from more than 12,500 reviews.
Shay created her lifestyle and travel brand in October 2018 “after countless trips and #Shaycations,” she said, according to her bio on the Beis website.
“I realized that I wanted to create amazing, affordable pieces for travelers like myself,” Mitchell added.
Beis aside, there were more dupes Amanda came across at Sam’s Club.
She found Everwash rugs, that looked like they were from Ruggable, which are washable carpets.
Instead of spending $249 on The Nugget Couch, Members Mark makes a similar item that costs $178.98.
Amanda also found a Bum Bum dupe. The Brazilian-inspired Sol de Janeiro cream normally costs $48 but is $16.98 at Sam’s Club.
Lastly, the shopper found a cheaper version of an Anthropologie mirror, though she didn’t say its price.
