She said the product from across the pond has been known to diminish signs of aging and even acne.
Alle (@allure_fashion) filmed herself discussing French skincare in a video on TikTok.
She gave the spotlight to a popular French retinol brand that doesn’t require a prescription to purchase.
“A lot of people bring theirs back from France, but you can actually get it from the French pharmacy. Don’t buy from non-reputable places,” she warned.
“This is the real deal, but let me tell you the key on this miracle worker.
She pointed out an issue that many experience with retinol — itchy skin.
“This will be your new saving grace, but a lot of people in the comments are like, ‘it itches. I can’t stand it,'” she said.
“Your face needs to be completely dry before you put it on and you only want to put a pea size amount on very thin, so that if you were to take a tissue and stick it on your face, it wouldn’t even stick.
“If you’re going to do skincare before, wait 20 minutes for your face to be completely dry, because if your face is wet, it will itch.

“I suggest to put it on at night and then put your moisturizer on in the morning. So I call this thing liquid gold, but it’s good for anything — fine lines, wrinkles, [and] acne,” she added.
The product is called the A313 Vitamin A Pommade from French Pharmacy, retailing for $32.40.
The video drew in many viewers who weighed in on the European skincare product.
“I just ordered mine, thanks for the tips,” one wrote.
“It’s awesome. I use that and Ialuset crème and Peprx314 all from French pharmacy,” another added.
“I bought it it was so excited, but when it came, it had a big red ‘X’ through a pregnant woman’s picture on it. Looks like I’ll need to wait a couple months before using,” a third commented.
