However some fans joked that Zuckerberg is “cursed” after Volkanovski was knocked out by Ilia Topuria in the second round.

The tech genius also looked a little awkward as he joined Volkanovski and his team inside the octagon.

Zuckerberg embraced the Aussie and then stood awkwardly as members of Volkanovski’s team passed around clothing.

He looked out of place which sparked ridicule from fans watching on from home, some of whom pointed out Zuckerberg is “cursed” since he also hung out with Israel Adesanya before he lost to Sean Strickland.

One fan reacted saying: “Dude is so awkward.”

Another added: “And Volk got KO’ed. Zuck is a curse!”

And a third wrote: “Mark Zuckerberg curse is real.”

Volanovski, 34, had successfully defended his UFC Featherweight title on five previous occasions before Zuckerberg turned up to watch.
