Shereene (@shereeneidriss) shared the beauty hack in a TikTok video.

“Cleansing hack with micellar water if you run out of cotton pads…because toilet paper sucks and we all know it,” she said.

“If your cleanser is not great at taking off makeup… and you have no cotton pads, put a couple drops of micellar water into your cleanser.”

Instead of lathering the cleanser up with water, she rubbed the solution between her fingers and applied it to her face manually.

“Use it on dry skin to get the makeup off,” she said.

Shereene massaged the micellar water and cleanser combo onto her face in circular motions, rubbing the tester eyeliner she drew on.

“That was a waterproof eyeliner all over my face,” she said.

“If you’re in a bind and you don’t want to use toilet paper on your face because we all know that sucks, mix it in with your cleanser.”

People thanked her for sharing the helpful skincare trick.

“This woman always has the best ideas!” said one fan.

I hate to brag but found a phenomenal dupe for a $38 primer for $8 – my skin was like silk & my makeup lasted all night_

“You’re my favorite dermatologist! Love the tips and honesty,” said another.

“Wait this is so smart,” said a third.

Many noticed that she was able to skip a cleansing step by combining two products instead of washing her face twice.

“Oh yes, love. Basically double cleansing,” said one commenter.

Some couldn’t wait to try to trick out for themselves on hard-to-remove cosmetics.

“Gonna try this on my mascara. I use baby oil to remove it because it’s so waterproof,” said one viewer.
