Mo from Behind The Wheel has revealed his three picks for those wanting a peppy motor.
In a clip uploaded to TikTok, Mo said those that can’t afford the popular hot hatch cars like the Audi RS3, BMW M1 40i, or Volkswagen Golf R shouldn’t despair.
Mo recommended three cars: a Mazda, a Volkswagen, and a BMW.
His first choice is a 2008 Mazda 3 which sells for £6,000.
With a 2.3litre engine and 300 break horsepower: “It’s definitely going to give you some kick for your money,” Mo said.
He said: “It might not be the most gorgeous thing in the world, and yes it is a Mazda, but you’ll smoke those haters at any traffic light.”
Secondly, Mo picks a 2010 Volkswagen Scirocco R selling for £7,000.
He said: “It’s a pretty decent looking car inside and out and with these black electric seats you can’t really go wrong with a car that pushes 280bhp.”
Finally, he picks the 2013 BMW M1i which sells for about £9,500 and has a whopping 350BHP with a 3litre engine.
“There’s not much to be said here but we all know that this car can go pretty fast.”
Car fans on Mo’s video backed his choice of the Mazda.
One person said: “Mazda will be the most reliable one there. Honestly so many people undermine Mazdas reliability.”
Another said: “whats wrong with mazda? cmon bruh.”
While a third considered another cost: “Insurance will be high tho.”
In another video, Mo shared his tips with new drivers on how to get on the road in style while sticking to a tidy budget.
Again he picked three cars on the cheap that will make youngsters look good on the road.
