Lewis is married to Sarah and the couple, who have three children together plus both having kids from previous relationships, tied the knot in 2012.

However, on the day when most celebrate their love with romantic gestures such as flowers, chocolates and a posh bite to eat, the Englishman instead had an incredible night most men would have been envious of.

Along with a laughing emoji and the badge of Stoke City, Lewis initially wrote on X: “Spending valentines day later the right way with my beloved @stokecity.lLoking forward to it.”

One of his 193k followers then asked what would be after that, to which the man known as ‘Jackpot’ replied with a snap of a snooker table and the words: “Iv booked us a table.”

Fans were quick to jump into his responses as the arrowsman enjoyed some banter with them.

One said: “Mate your brave fella! I hope you got something nice in place or spare room!”

To which Lewis responded: “She knows I love her really.”

Lewis’s darts career began aged 18 when he won the 2003 British Teenage Open.

The star went on to start his professional career in the British Darts Organisation (BDO), before joining the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC).
