His trick guaranteed clear sidewalks of snowfall in a matter of seconds.
The shoveler (@jvjlawncare) shared his cleaning technique with his TikTok followers.
Grabbing a large shovel, he quickly ran up and down the sidewalk, scooping up snow as he went.
“Quick and easy if you have to shovel,” he said.
Placing the shovel in front of him at an angle, he walked quickly to gather all the snow in one go.
“Call this the Half and Half method,” he said.
“If there’s under four inches you can sprint and clear the whole walk in seconds.”
True to his word, he sprinted up and down the sidewalk, clearing all the snow off the ground in a matter of seconds.
People warned that there was a trick to the technique and that it didn’t work all the time.
“Also only works if that snow is fresh and still powdery,” said one commenter.
Those who tried it out for themselves agreed that it was the key to light snowfall.
“I did that as a kid. You just put enough pressure and hope you don’t hit anything,” said one commenter.
“That works with fluffy snow, not with the mashed potatoes I was shoveling yesterday,” joked another.
