The Acca

Paris Saint-Germain should be confident of securing a first-leg advantage on Wednesday. It’s the Parisian’s 12th successive season in the knockout stages, and there’s huge confidence on their home patch having won 11 of the last 13 at the Parc des Princes.

Real Sociedad have been the surprise package of the competition, but they are winless in their last four – failing to score in all of those.

Bayern Munich and Lazio have only met twice in the Champions League, and it came in the Round of 16 back in the 2020/21 season with the Bundesliga champions winning both legs.

Bayern have one all of their last five UCL clashes against Italian sides, and will be desperate to bounce back from their woeful 3-0 defeat to Bayer Leverkusen. The hosts have just one win in their last four, and that came against 19th-placed Cagliari.

Millwall are a beleaguered side having lost five of their last six, and are winless since beating Bristol City on New Year’s Day.

Ipswich, though winless themselves over the last four, will be confident of taking advantage Millwall’s lack of confidence and reignite their promotion hopes.

Rangers beating Ross County needs very little explanation, it should be an extremely comfortable victory for the hosts who’ve won their last six on the bounce – conceding twice.

Preston are easily the biggest price included in our five-fold at 21/10, but Ryan Lowe’s side are back in the groove after successive wins over Cardiff and Ipswich.

Only Southampton and Leeds boast better recent form over the last five matches, while Middlesbrough have lost two of their last four – and haven’t managed a clean sheet in five.

It might be well worth taking advantage of Sky Bet’s AccaFreeze if Preston take the lead at Deepdale on Wednesday.
