She is preparing to perform her biggest hits again, including Lost In Your Eyes, No More Rhyme and title track Electric Youth from her first album.

The American singer, 53, is going on tour this year to celebrate the anniversary of the album’s release and looked incredible in a little black dress at a recent event.

But Debbie has barely stopped working since she shot to fame aged 17.

For two years, she was a judge on Nickelodeon’s America’s Most Musical Family in 2019 and 2020.

Debbie went on a world tour to promote her album The Body Remembers in 2021.

She also released 2010’s Ms. Vocalist and appeared in an episode of Lucifer in 2021.

The pianist, and record producer, recently opened up about becoming famous at such a young age.

She said: “My life has been very unconventional.

“I was employing 100 people by 17 years old, and I was an adult as a kid. I’m not breaking out the world’s smallest violin — but I lived life out of order.

“I never wanted to complain. I was a people pleaser, so God forbid anyone thought I was ungrateful. I’d always be like, ‘Oh, I’m fine. I can handle that.’

“But I was masking my fear and anxiety and nervousness. It really caught up with me, and I started having full-on hyperventilating panic attacks.

“I used to have that brown paper bag to breathe into with me all the time. At times I literally thought I was going to die.”
