CHARLOTTE Crosby is joining Celebrity MasterChef – fresh from quitting Geordie Shore.

The reality TV legend threw in the towel on the MTV series after a dramatic bust up abroad involving her co-stars.

Charlotte is now keen to turn over a new leaf and show her more wholesome side after becoming a mum to her daughter Alba-Jean.

She’s decided to test her mettle and don a white apron alongside to compete alongside an I’m A Celeb star and a Radio 1 DJ in the famous kitchen.

A source told The Sun: “Charlotte was thrilled to be asked to do Celebrity Masterchef.

“She wants to move away from all the drama of Geordie Shore and, now she’s a mum, this is the perfect mainstream show for her to do which will introduce her to a wider audience.

“She’s determined to show a different side of her and after all the bust ups she’s experienced on her MTV show, she’s confident she can take the heat in the Masterchef kitchen.”

Charlotte has barely been off TV screens since finding fame in 2011.

She’s had a string of her own reality shows on MTV and BBC3, including Charlotte In Sunderland, Just Tattoo of Us which she hosted, and The Charlotte Crosby experience.

She won the twelth series of Celebrity Big Brother and was a huge hit on when she appeared on the Australian version of I’m A Celeb.

She will now join be judged by Gregg Wallace and John Torode in the BBC kitchen alonsgide Ian ‘H’ Watkins, presenter Edith Bowman and Radio 1Xtra’s Snoochie Shy, who was on I’m A Celebrity in 2021.

A MasterChef spokesperson told The Sun: “We do not comment on speculation over the Celebrity MasterChef line-up.”

Another TV source said: “Celebrity MasterChef is one of telly’s most prized gigs.

“Hardly anyone turns it down.

“It’s seen as a real achievement as well as being relatively easy to fit alongside busy schedules.

“As such, the BBC always attracts an impressive range of names from a broad spectrum of celebrity.

“This trio really demonstrates that there’s someone for all ages and backs up the BBC’s pledge of continually trying to reach the younger audiences.

“H is great fun and bosses are excited to see how his journey pans out, while Edith is such a safe pair of hands.

“Snoochie has great energy too and won new fans when she was in Gwrych Castle for I’m A Celeb.

“Everyone is excited for the new batch of celeb chefs.”
