Taking to her X(formerly Twitter) account on Wednesday, Leah confirmed that she’s been filming her latest A Place in the Sun episode in sunny Malaga – worlds away from the depressingly cold and damp British weather

Alongside videos of herself and the camera crew, Leah penned: “Some #behindthescenes clips from my hot property filming of #aplaceinthesun today… I’m near Marbella.”

The Channel 4 star also teased: “Currently filming a new episode… I’ve loads more in the bank, too. Hopefully new series soon.”

Fans of the property series were delighted to be welcoming the star back on the show but one viewer complained that she hadn’t had enough screen time lately.

They wrote: “That’s great news! Felt you were rather short-changed with a number of episodes in the most recent series [though].”

The comment received plenty of likes and words of agreement as others echoed the concerns.

Responding to the comment, Leah promised: “I’m definitely recording them!”

She added: “There are many in the bank, at least..”

Leah has previously credited A Place in the Sun for helping her deal with her bipolar disorder, which she was diagnosed with.

After the star first joined the programme back in 2021, she quickly began gaining healing vibes as she helped house hunters find their forever homes in exotic locations.

Meanwhile, Leah has further reason to celebrate this week after revealing that her father’s homeland, Grenada, was commemorating 50 years of independence.

Yesterday she wrote: “The birth place of my father. The land my grandparents were laid to rest.

“Reppin St Andrew, #Grenada is my very own #aplaceinthesun and today it celebrates its 50th anniversary of independence. Congratulations to the Spice Isle! #puregrenada #grenada50.”

Alongside the heartfelt tribute, Leah posted a carousel of snaps of herself living her best life in the sunshine.

In one snap she took to the beach in a bright floral dress, displaying her fondness for the Caribbean island.

The TV personality also previously mentioned to Express.co.uk that St Lucia – where her late grandmother hailed from – has a special place in her heart.

She explained: “Whenever I was feeling particularly triggered or down or depressed, my granny would just say: ‘Just get here, Leah. If you can get here, I’ll take care of the rest,’ and so that’s what I would do.

“There were times where I was on my knees. I felt like I was crawling through life on the floor [but when] I would speak to her, she would just say, ‘Let’s just get you here.’

“When I got there, and that sunshine hit me when I got off the plane, and I’d see her smiling face at the airport going to wait for me… that will always be a happy place for me.”

Last year, Leah posted a snap of herself on social media, and fans hailed her as a “goddess” as she posed on the beach in glam holiday pictures.

The TV presenter was enjoying a well-earned break in Grenada, and she shared pictures from the Caribbean on X (formerly Twitter).
