A food fanatic has shared her go-to gameday snack that’s low in calories and effort.
In her video, MaKayla (@makayla_thomas_fit), who has lost 55 pounds, demonstrated how to make her buffalo chicken wontons.
She described her recipe as a “high protein low-calorie meal idea for people with goals to reach.”
For her first step, the TikToker added a portion of canned chicken to a bowl.
“Use any chicken, I prefer canned for these specifically,” MaKayla told her viewers.
Next, she added two wedges of Laughing Cow spreadable cream cheese to the bowl.
For flavoring, she mixed in one to two tablespoons of buffalo sauce and half a teaspoon of ranch seasoning.
MaKayla advised her audience to “mash” all the ingredients together until the chicken was entirely covered.
She then placed wonton wrappers that she purchased at Walmart on the underside of a muffin tray.
After misting each wrapper with cooking spray she placed them in the oven.
“Bake at 375 degrees Fahrenheit for five to seven minutes,” MaKayla recommended.
Finally, she scooped the filling into each of the now crispy wonton shells.
“Perfect for lunch or as a game day snack,” she told her audience.
MaKayla added that the entire dish was only 283 calories with 33 grams of protein.
