The Cruel Summer singer made history by landing a record fourth gong for album of year for the 2023 release of Midnights.
That’s more than any other artist since the music awards began 66 years ago, and with the 34-year-old also winning best pop vocal album, there was plenty to shout about in Los Angeles on Sunday night.
But rather than soak up the adulation all for herself, the kind-hearted global icon wasted no time in spending an astonishing $160,000 on beautiful, and thoughtful, gifts for over 30 members of her behind-the-scenes team.
The U.S. Sun previously reported how Taylor ordered custom made jackets and bags for boyfriend Travis Kelce and Kansas City Chiefs superstar quarterback Patrick Mahomes to commemorate their record-breaking touchdown combination record two weeks ago.
And she was back in the routine again, this time going above and beyond to say thank you to the people who’ve helped her become one of the most popular artists on earth, while her Eras tour has become the highest-grossing tour ever.
“Taylor had a historical year, and on a night where she made history, she is always very grateful and thanking the love and constant support from her team and collaborators,” an insider told The U.S. Sun.
“People felt very emotional when receiving the gifts. Everybody loved them.”
For the women in her team of advisors, assistants, agents, and managers, she scoured Cartier and Louis Vuitton to find the perfect gifts.
She decided to go with $2,100 shoulder bags from Cartier, which according to the official product description, are crafted “in black grained calfskin with gold, palladium or rose gold finish, golden hot-stamped “Cartier” signature.”
They came in both black and pink and Taylor also put in an order for Cartier d’Amour necklaces, made of 18K rose gold and costing a cool $2,500.
And she also snapped up some Louis Vuitton handbags, which came in at $2,900 each.
“The Speedy Bandoulière 20 handbag’s iconic shape becomes softer and gentler in off-white Monogram Empreinte cowhide leather with a muted pastel Monogram print,” gushes the official description on the designer’s website.
“The same pastel is used to outline the handle mounts. There are two rolled-leather top handles and a removable and adjustable strap for multiple carries.”
The men, meanwhile, were treated to some extra-special gifts to cherish.
Taylor searched the extensive Louis Vuitton collection and decided on a small, wonderfully detailed leather bag called the Nano Steamer, which cost $2,500, and a larger backpack style bag that would be perfect for traveling or everyday work use.
“The Christopher MM conjures up the rugged spirit of a hiking pack in Monogram canvas. It’s equally chic at work and play and evokes a fine lifestyle,” said the Louis Vuitton website of its $3,300 creation.
She also ordered some $2,500 travel bags, described as “not only stylish but also resistant and light.”
“Taylor does a lot for her team and close collaborators, and the team is united and the love is reciprocated,” added the source.
“Taylor loves and takes care of them like family, she does a lot for all of them.
“It’s great to have a boss, a collaborator, who treats people like that”
