Buatsi on Azeez
Buatsi said after the fight: “I’m very grateful to god. Dan and I would like to thank everyone for coming out. He pushed me every round, he’s a champion.
“I couldn’t have done it without Dan, it’s a pleasure to share the ring with him.
“Dan was pounding my head. He made me fight every second. Dan, big up yourself.
“This guy will give anyone a hard fight.”
Dan Azeez speaks
Azeez said to Sky Sports in the ring post-fight: “He’s just the better man tonight. I can’t say one particular thing. Today he came and performed. He’s a great athlete inside and outside the ring. I respect him.
“He’s won tonight, he deserves what’s coming next.”

One judge scored it 116-110 with the other two scoring it 117-109 all for Buatsi.
A little harsh on Azeez’s performance there but Buatsi the deserved winner.
