The Sherlock actress, 51, was embroiled in a feud with professional partner Giovanni Pernice, 33, during the BBC show, with the pair’s time blighted by a series of rows before she ultimately quit.
Amanda then demanded backstage footage of her training after making public her post-traumatic stress disorder sparked by her Strictly Come Dancing stint.
Now the actress is marking a new chapter in her life with a fresh inking.
She already has a star tattoo on her left forearm, just below her elbow crease.
Now she’s opted for looped lettered writing just above, which reads: “52 Blue.”
The tattoo parlour, Flesh Tattoo, proudly posted the results on its Instagram Stories with a whale icon.
This means it could relate to the 52 Blue whale, which is a 52 hertz whale which calls at the same frequency.
Taylor Jack Tattoos, based at Manchester’s Flesh Tattoo, wrote: “Little one for a lovely client.”
Amanda re-posted the image to her page with a series of hand clap and heart-shaped Emojis.
Previously, a pal claimed it has taken months for Mr Selfridge actress Amanda to recover from her Strictly stint.
They said: “Amanda has been left broken and saddened by the whole experience.
“She has needed therapy and was left in shock by the behaviour she was exposed to.”
Then, the screen star was subject to a slew of horrific death threats after opening up on her PTSD experience.
Meanwhile, the Strictly Come Dancing drama the BBC has pledged to stand by the Italian dancer.
