Occasional Digest - a story for you

CHOCOLATE addicts “can’t decide” on whether or not a new treat that’s been spotted is a hit or miss – as Brits start writing their Easter wish lists.

The new snack was posted on social media and multiple sweet-toothed Brits got involved to debate the not-so-ordinary treat.

The Easter goodie – Neapolitan Ice Cream flavoured Aero Melts – was seen on the Facebook group New Foods UK earlier today and already has over 400 people typing out their opinions.

The post reads: “New Neapolitan Ice Cream Aero Melts now available at Asda.”

But not everyone is licking their lips at the prospect of the new flavour, so it may not be the Easter winner that Nestle had hoped for.

One user said: “Can’t decide if these sound good or not, only one way to find out.”

And a second said: “Yum to the the chocolate one and I want to try the strawberry one – but I don’t like white chocolate.”

While a third said: “Don’t how I feel about these.”

But in fairness the comments seem heavily in favour of the new snack, with comment after comment of choc-fans saying how much they “need” them.

One user said: “Why do these look so good.”

And a second user said: “I need these.”

A third chimed in with: “Oh my days I bet these are lush.”

Either way, it’s yet another new addition to the choice of treats on offer that Brits can add to their Easter wishes – with 2024 proving to be a strong year.

Multiple snacks have already been added to the hearts of Easter-lovers up and down the country this year.

And over the last few months chocolate companies have really tested the resolve of their customer’s January new year’s resolutions – to a point where you’d be hard-pressed not to find a specialist snack to feast on next month.

Just recently Cadbury “re-launched” their Caramilk chocolate – but in a new giant size.

And Cadbury brought out a new version of one of their strongest treats – Cadbury Mini Eggs – now with a whole knew chocolate orange flavour.

Other treats spotted were Twix and Snickers tubs of cookie dough, and a white chocolate Creme Egg Easter Egg has also been revealed.
