There’s no doubt investing in a soundbar can level up your home entertainment system; but such upgrades often don’t come cheap.

But this hidden gem I spotted on Amazon’s best-selling soundbars list delivers exceptional value for money.

Hisense is already a trusted name for budget-friendly tech, but its HS214 All-In-One Soundbar, originally priced at £129, has dropped to just £89.

For its 65cm footprint and cheap price point, it packs plenty under the hood, including three Dolby Digital speakers and a built-in subwoofer.

The subwoofer delivers exceptional bass, producing a cinema-quality ‘boom,’ complemented by front-facing speakers that project high and mid-range frequencies, lending to an immersive listening experience.

It may seem like a high-tech upgrade, but there’s no complicated setup; it connects to your TV through a single HDMI cable (included), or wirelessly via Bluetooth.

The HS214 soundbar currently has a 4.1-out-of-5 rating on the Amazon website, along with users singing its praises in the reviews.

One user described the soundbar as “absolutely brilliant”, adding: “For the price it’s an outstanding purchase. Easy to set up, beautifully clear sound and a nice rich bass which is not overpowering”.

Another echoed this, saying: “I’m no audiophile but was having real difficulty hearing my Hisense TV. Purchased this to ensure its compatibility with the TV and have to say I’m impressed. It’s made a real difference”.

If you’re in the market to upgrade your television too, our tech reporter Matt Breen spotted a 43-inch Samsung TV with ‘stunning visuals’ reduced from £449 to £289.

This week I covered a similarly decent deal on a ‘smooth’ 17-inch laptop reduced from £520 to £210, which has also seen shoppers racing to add to their baskets.
