The glam body-positive influencer, originally from Essex, has amassed 285,000 dedicated followers on the social media channel.

And she always aims to inspire fans to “love and accept their bodies”.

In a recent video, the 31-year-old admitted she usually opts for “flattering” outfits that hug her figure.

But she is now swearing by a £38 ASOS shirt dress that allows her to feel comfortable and still look stylish.

Poppy, a size 22, said: “Now I’m not really a shirt dress kind of girlie.

“I tend to like things a little bit more form-fitting to my body or to cinch me at the waist.

“But I bought this recently at ASOS, this super cute corduroy shirt dress.

“I’ve actually been wearing it loads recently.”

She added: “I’ve just wanted to be comfy and I’ve really enjoyed wearing this because it’s just a chuck on and go type of vibe. No shapewear, no belts.

“I need a little reminder as a fat person that you don’t always have to wear the most ‘flattering’ piece of clothing.

“You can wear what you want, you can wear what you like.”

Poppy paired the black cord frock with a TU Clothing dusky blue coat and matching hat, Dr. Martens boots and a black crossbody bag.

She added: “Sometimes comfort is key, baby.”

And her fellow fashion fans couldn’t agree more as her clip racked up more than 21,000 views.

One gushed: “Fab babe! Isn’t wonderful to feel stunning AND comfortable?”

A second wrote: “YES with the flattering clothes. I’m trying to get out of this mindset!

“I blame Trinny and Susannah and Gok Wan tbh! I wanna wear clothes that I just like. Who cares if it isn’t ‘flattering’.”

A third chimed in: “This is definitely my vibe!! Absolutely love it!”

A fourth said: “So stunning! You always look amazing.”

Meanwhile, a fifth added: “I have this dress and it’s amazing I love it and wear it to death.”
