A driver claims there’s no need to part with cash when de-icing your motor, as they show off a new no-tool method that won’t hurt your bank balance.
The video starts with London based songwriter, Jacob Cunningham-Bell, showing his windscreen covered in ice.
Most drivers would rush to get an ice scraper or plastic bag filled with warm water to get rid of the frost fast.
But on this occasion no tools are needed as the seemingly winter-proof musician places his hand on the ice and slides it off the car with ease.
The no-tool method may not work for everyone, but the lucky few that are successful will save precious time on their busy morning schedules.
Viewers quickly piped up in the comments to throw in their thoughts on the technique.
Some were impressed with his Jedi-like ability and some were not, but it’s doubtful that Jacob minds since he was probably tucked up in a coffee shop soon after – early for work.
One user said: “My guy just told the ice to move.”
And a second user said: “The force is strong with this one.”
While a third commented: “This beats the plastic bag and hot water hack.”
But there were those that weren’t so sure on the on the technique, with one user writing: “How is that a hack? I’d be half way to work by the time it took do all that.”
And another user thinks the trick is due to a secret feature of the car, they said: “Heated windscreen.”
Hacks and tricks to solve annoying little problems Brits face during their daily lives are constantly being shared online – and thankfully most seem to do a decent job.
Earlier this month, a man posted a clever hack that involved buying a car-cover, but clever commenters found a way to de-ice a windscreen using a towel and some cardboard instead.
And, another hack showed how a woman uses a three-ingredient DIY spray to kill off mould in her home.
