Kim (@sliimkim) shared the first date story with over 50,000 TikTok followers.
“Dating in New York is an Olympic sport,” she wrote.
“You think you’ve had a hard time dating? I once went on a date with a guy — ABC Cocina — and he showed up with an overnight bag.”
Despite the date inside of a classy, Michelin-star restaurant, Kim explained that she was shocked by the sleazy behavior.
“I knew it wasn’t a gym bag,” she said.
Her date’s next move after they had finished their meal solidified her suspicions.
He attempted to call her a car and asked for her address to put into his phone.
“I said, ‘Well why don’t you put in your address, and then I’ll put in mine?'” she said.
“He was like, ‘No, we’re going back to yours,’ and I was like, ‘No, we’re not. It’s not a homeless shelter, I’m not taking in strays, we’re not doing that, it’s not happening.'”
In response, her date refused to call her a ride home, which was perfectly fine to Kim.
“I said that’s fine, I’ll call my own car, peace out Girl Scout,” she said.
