The G-Wagon is parked on double yellow lines on a busy high street.
Stuck to the window of the car is a yellow parking fine.
Luke swaggers up to the car and removes the parking fine, before jumping into his vehicle.
Text placed over the video reads: “To poor people this is a parking fine.
“To rich people this is a tiny VIP parking fee to park wherever we want.”
The price of a parking ticket varies, depending on where you are in the UK.
As an example, parking fines in London range from £80 to £130.
If you pay the fine within 14 days, you can get the fine reduced by 50%.
However, if you do not pay the fine within 28 days, 50% extra will get added on to the cost.
For many people in the UK, getting a parking fine is a scary thought as it could seriously impact their monthly budget.
However, for people like Luke, the fine is miniscule.
Some people have argued that instead of being a set fee, parking fines should be based on income, so that they affect rich people in the same way as they affect poor people.
Luke’s video has clearly left many openmouthed as it has racked up more than 800,000 views in just one day.
TikTok users raced to the video’s comments section to share their thoughts on Luke’s video.
One user said: “Don’t worry, one day it will be based on income an it will cost you 10k “.
Another user added: “I do that all the time, with most places in London it’s impossible to find parking spots, and it comes off as expenses on my tax return”.
