Jordan Henderson contract details

Ex-Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson has reached an agreement to leave Al-Ettifaq as he closes in on a move to Ajax.

Henderson is set to terminate his £700,000-a-week contract in Saudi Arabia.

And the Athletic report the midfielder will take a whopping 75 per cent pay cut to seal a move to Amsterdam – still pocketing him £175,000 a week.

The 33-year-old only moved to Steven Gerrard’s side in July, meaning his Middle Eastern adventure has lasted just six months.

The England international is expected to pen an 18-month contract with Ajax in a deal that will include the option to extend until 2026.

Villa to sign Serbian teen

Aston Villa are set to sign Kosta Nedeljkovic from Red Star Belgrade, according to reports.

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano claims that Nedeljkovic will complete his Villa medical in the coming days.

He adds that the 18-year-old will stay at Red Star on loan until the end of the season before joining up with the Villans.

Spurs star on the move

Sergio Reguilon has completed his medical at Brentford ahead of a loan switch from Tottenham.

The left-back, 27, spent the first half of the season at Manchester United before being sent back to North London.

Still not in Ange Postecoglou’s plans, the Spaniard will complete the season with the Bees.

According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, there will NOT be an option to buy included in the deal.

Victor Osimhen chasing Prem switch

Napoli star Victor Osimhen has confirmed that he will “definitely” play in the Premier League – but he has “other plans” for now.

Both Manchester United and Chelsea chased his signature during the summer.

A move failed to materialise, but the Premier League duo and rivals Arsenal were then put on red alert after a controversial TikTok post left Osimhen contemplating SUING his employers in September 2023.

It then emerged that Chelsea were leading the race to try and sign him during the January transfer window.

Facing the media at Afcon, Osimhen was asked about moving to the Prem, to which he replied: “Of course one day, definitely, but for now I have other plans in my career I am looking forward to.

“When the time comes, everyone will know.”
