She credited dropping 86 pounds by implementing a specific type of cardio machine.
Blessing Shaka (@fit_bless) filmed herself breaking a sweat in the gym in a video on TikTok.
She wore light pink activewear with a black waist trainer and white tennis shoes.
“The only cardio I have been doing to lose 86 pounds with my waist trainer on,” she said.
She was steadily walking up the StairMaster — a machine with a cycle of steps to mimic walking up a staircase that ends when the user chooses to.
She added more advice on her approach to fitness and losing postpartum weight.
“Walking/LISS cardio all day,” she added.
Low-intensity steady-state cardio, or LISS cardio, refers to slower motions like walking uphill, jogging, or climbing the stairs.
Although the exercises appear simpler than sprinting, some have found that slow and steady wins the race.
