The woman – who goes by @ailiebanks_burnerphone on Tiktok – took to the platform to share a tour of her unusual home.
The video is captioned: “I live in a bus I built with my partner because we’re in a housing affordability crisis.”
It then shows her home from the outside and all appears normal and bus-like except from the bizarre entrance.
It’s a standard sized door for a house which has been cleverly attached to the bus – making it more secure.
One viewer noticed this and asked: “Does the front door have a lock? do you ever feel unsafe there at night?”
Ailiebanks responded: “Yep we have a lock but never feel unsafe we are on the back of a Mates place so always people around.”
The clip then continues to do a full tour of the makeshift home.
It has a cosy and vibrant interior and many painting hang on the wall.
There’s with ample room for a sofa – which a cat relaxes on – a full sized fridge, a kitchen and a bedroom.
The bus also has a spacious bathroom which boasts a bath and shower and makes it hard to believe this is a motor home.
Ailiebanks also reveals that her home took two years to build and set her back roughly £12,000.
Last week we told of a couple who renovated an old school bus to make a stylish home-on-wheels.
Adam and Joanie Wegman took a leap of faith when they picked up their 220-square-foot yellow bus, especially as it needed extensive work.
Speaking on YouTube, they said: “We felt like our stuff was getting in the way of experiences.
“We just kept saying things like ‘I wish we could do this, or ‘I wish I could go there.’
“Next thing I knew, we had this bus.”
