One woman thanked her lucky stars that her date was able to laugh off her mistake on their date.

Tierney (@tmckool) shared the incident with over 24,000 TikTok followers.

She explained she had gone on a date with someone she’d been talking to for a month.

The content creator explained she felt comfortable around her date and the two pre-gamed before heading out to a comedy show.

“One of the comedians was a girl and somewhere in the joke she was like, ‘Ladies say it with me, size doesn’t matter!'” she said.

“All the girls in the room were chanting with her so I chanted too and I don’t know why I did this but for whatever reason, on the third chant, I look at the guy I’m dating and I’m like, size doesn’t matter!”

Tierney explained that while intoxicated, she just wanted to let her date know she was non-judgemental about his physical traits.

Unfortunately, her date wasn’t the only one who caught on to her intentions.

“The next comedian comes out and he’s like, ‘Give it up for Sarah! The best part of her set was when that blonde girl back there looked her boyfriend dead in the eye and chanted size doesn’t matter,'” she said.

Luckily for her, her date took the joke in stride: “He took it like a champ, he laughed, he thought it was funny,” she revealed.

People thought the situation was illuminating on her date’s personality.

“Dude was a good sport though, green flag,” said one commenter.
