That’s because shoppers have been racing to their nearest Tesco in a bid to snap up heavily reduced items in the store’s mega sale.

And with prices starting from as little as just 4p, it’s little surprise they’re eager to shout about it from the rooftops!
Delighted shoppers have been rushing online to money-saving Facebook group Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK to show off the very impressive bargain buys they’ve managed to spot.
And it’s good news if you’re chocolate fans…
Shopper Vanessa Ann raved about the Cadbury selection box she managed to get her hands on for the reduced price of just £1.
She enthused: “TESCO. Being sold for £1 each
“Lots of other bits on reduced to clear but these were the bargains for me.
“Tiptree, Essex.”
Elsewhere, Kara Hill was thrilled after spotting a Babyliss Air Style 1000 Advanced Power Styling tool in the sale.
But rather than forking out the original £32.50 price tag, she instead managed to nab it for just £3.25 – meaning she saved herself a whopping £29.25.
And if it’s clothes you’re after, then you’re also in luck!
Jenny Stanley couldn’t believe her eyes when she found a £10 Super Mario T-shirt for the reduced price of just 4p – making in £9.96 cheaper than the original price tag.
She commented: “My bargain of the day £10 down to 4p in Tesco.”
And Victoria Molyneux, who picked up a self-scanning device, also noted: “Nice surprise 25 percent off ladies clothing Tesco.
“Wasn’t advertised this was all new Kate Ferdinand stuff. Didn’t come off sale items so must only be full price.
“Also didn’t come off children’s.”
It wasn’t long before the comments section was swarmed with messages, with many quick to praise the eagle-eyed shoppers for their fab discounts.
“We need proof – great bargain!” wrote one.
A second enthused: “Best bargain I’ve seen yet!”
A third commented: “Omg!”
