Chi-Chi recently earned the top seller accolade after hitting a certain number of sales on the app.
And she decided to post a video on TikTok with some of her suggestions, including one of the photos she’d never leave out of the listing.
“I’m officially one of Vinted’s top sellers,” Chi-Chi began.
“I thought I would just share some tips on how I have been relatively successful at selling some of my items on Vinted.
“The type of shots I take are just front, back and detail shots. I keep things really, really simple.
“I also take a shot of the brand. So no matter what brand it is – if it’s Primark, if it’s Gucci, whatever, I’ll take a photo of the brand, the tag that says the brand on it.”
Doing that means Chi-Chi is likely to get fewer messages from people asking if the item is real or not.
She also tries to include as many pictures as possible.
“If you could get one wearing the item, dressed up, I think that’s even better,” she noted.
As for the background, Chi-Chi prefers keeping things neutral.
“I use the same door in my house, occasionally I’ve used my wardrobe, that is also white, as the background,” she said.
However, there has been the “odd occasion” where she’s dressed up the background.
When it came to selling a white bridal bag, she decided to include some white flowers and greenery in the background to make the item “pop” a bit more.
Doing so also made her stand out from her competitors as, on this occasion, there was someone selling the exact same bag.
People were quick to praise Chi-Chi for the suggestions in the comments section, with one writing: “Great tips, love them!!”
“Best tip which makes life easier always get a ‘vinted picture’ and add to a folder so you don’t need to try the item on again,” another person commented.
“I always have people say I have loads of clothes but no time to sort, this is the most efficient way.”
To which Chi-Chi replied: “This is SO GOOD!! love this!! Thank you!”
