Who is Paul Michael Glaser?
Paul Michael Glaser is an actor and director born on March 25, 1943, in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
Glaser graduated with a bachelor’s degree in theater and English from Tulane University before receiving his master’s degree at Boston University in 1967.
Following his graduation, Glaser landed his first role as a series regular on the show Love Is a Many Splendored Thing.
He made his film debut in the 1971 film version of the musical Fiddler on the Roof.
He then went on to land his breakout role as Detective Dave Starsky in the TV series Starsky and Hutch alongside the late David Soul.

What happened to David Soul?
On January 5, 2023, Soul’s wife Helen Snell revealed the famed actor passed away the day prior.
In a heartbreaking statement, Snell said: “David Soul – beloved husband, father, grandfather and brother – died yesterday after a valiant battle for life in the loving company of family.
“He shared many extraordinary gifts in the world as actor, singer, storyteller, creative artist and dear friend.
“His smile, laughter and passion for life will be remembered by the many whose lives he has touched.”
Soul is survived by his wife Snell and his six children whom he welcomed throughout his four previous marriages.
