Nick and Tylee shared this revelation via videos posted to their TikTok channel @nickandtylee with their original post on the matter garnering a whopping 6.4 million views.
The couple don’t seemed to be phased by the fact that they share DNA and in the caption to one of their video stated: “Yes, we really are cousins, yes, we are still married, and yes, we are laughing out loud.”
They often post videos of themselves kissing and laughing about the fact that they look so alike and seem to think it is hilarious that they are related.
The couple have not revealed any details about how exactly they found out that they were cousins or how closely related they actually are.
However, since they have only just found out that they are related it is unlikely that they are first cousins, unless one of them is estranged from their family.

Additionally, the couple is from Utah, USA, where it is illegal to marry your first cousin (your parents’ siblings’ kid) but it is fine to marry a second or third cousin.
The couple have also posted videos alluding to the fact that they would like to have children in the future, suggesting that they are unfazed by the fact that if children are the product of incest, they can be born with birth defects.
TikTok users have flooded the comments sections of the couple’s videos to share their thoughts on their relationship.
One user said: “My mom waited until I was pregnant to tell me my partner was my 4th cousin once removed.”
A second user said: “Same thing happened to us. Married for 3 years with a kid and then found out we’re 5th cousins once removed.”
A third user said: “My husband and i are 10th cousins once removed. Almost everyone i know in utah is my cousin somehow.”
