The hairdresser shared a 10-week update of her hair transplant but it didn’t look like her new hairline was growing.
A hair transplant usually brings forward someone hair hairline, this is done by shaving a small section at the back of the head and inpanting those hairs into the hairline on the forehead.
After the procedure it will take time for the donor area hair to grow back and the hairline to hair to start growing.
The stylist who goes by hausoflt_ shared her 10-week update in a TikTok video online.
She said: “This is a 10-week update since my hair transplant.”
The hairdresser said her new hair had fallen out at first and she was waiting for her new hairline to grow back.
She said: “So obviously it all falls out first and then it just starts growing back you know from scratch.”
In the second round of regrowth, it looked like the hairdresser’s hairline was growing back very thin.
She said: “You can see how long some of the hairs are.”
“This is me now just pushing it around showing you the growth it’s nice and fluffy.”
The hairdresser also shared an update on the regrowth in the donor area on the back of her head.
She said: “It’s been growing back really nice and thick. It’s grown back so quickly, I didn’t think it would grow this fast in 10 weeks.
The hairdresser’s video gained over 224,000 views but people were convinced there was something wrong with her transplant.
One user said: “Bro got scammed.”
Another asked: “Is it supposed to be as thin?”
A third comment: “Bro gonna start going bald.”
The hairdresser has now shared a one-year-later update and it looks like the hair has continued to grow since.
The stylist now had a full fringe that she enjoys pulling back in a ponytail which she wears with confidence.
