Occasional Digest - a story for you

DEAR DEIDRE: WHEN my older male friend slapped me on the bum I was shocked and upset.

I blamed myself for flirting with him.

But now my best mate says it’s sexual assault and I should report him. I’m 19, and my male friend is 23.

We go to the same gym and we became friends. I found him attractive but said he was way too old for me.

But last week he slapped me on my behind and laughed.

Since then, I’ve felt really upset. I feel like it’s my fault for leading him on. Should I report him?
