Occasional Digest - a story for you

“The Axis of Evil” was a term coined at the beginning of the new century to divide people and support wars. It was declared a victory, but today, its catastrophic damage is equally visible on both nations attacked and those attacking. There is no place to hide from the truth while fooling people all the time is now mainly reserved for comic books. However, a new axis of disconnectivity is emerging on the horizon.

Today, a new global conflict has been declared by nature against our behavior – the all-out war on climate change. However, we are still at a stage where discussions and debates are heated, while there is a lack of globally workable and financially accepted business models to combat climate change. At present, it feels more like faith-based arguments than practical solutions.

Despite the efforts of deities and sacrifices of prophets, global hunger, and clean water remain elusive goals. Today, the responsibility of achieving climate change goals lies in the hands of earthly souls.

However, there is a lack of fundamentalism required for organizational mobilization and the unique power of entrepreneurial mysticism that can lead to extraordinary results. This raises a challenge to the current global goals and climate change delivery mechanisms.

Without unlimited funding and unlimited global support, the mandates must explore authoritative input on how entrepreneurialism can sit on the same table with scientists and academia and come up with proven formulations as viable, commercially sound, and globally attractive to mobilizations of streamlined, sustainable programs.

As we begin 2024, we face challenges of disconnections that question our current methods: carbon tax policies focused on climate change and net-zero and the need for major and active participation of Small and Medium Enterprises on a national and global level with entrepreneurial pragmatism. This is a global strategy, a solution that helps the economic, scientific, and academic world already engaged with climate change at large.

The importance of entrepreneurial thinking in climate change planning cannot be underestimated. At COP27, there was a lack of discussion on this topic due to the absence of entrepreneurial mindsets. Simply relying on quick financial schemes like printing more money or raising taxes will not be enough. Instead, all parties must come together under the ‘entrepreneurial umbrella’ to find solutions that create economic incentives and apply entrepreneurial logic. The lack of funding progress on climate change in the past 50 years of gatherings highlights the need for a new approach.

The perfect storm cometh: it may not be the meltdowns of poles, but could it be a meltdown of global opinion totally rejecting climate change taxation as a grand failure.

Behold the global Election 2024; thiswill be the most oversized Pandora’s Box across the geo-political world; this is another story for another time. The essential hot spots are the USA, Russia, EU, India, Pakistan, Indonesia, South Africa, Iran, Bangladesh, Taiwan, North Korea, South Korea, Mexico, Austria, Syria, and dozens more.

The challenges posed by climate change are real, but finding effective solutions can be difficult. When it comes to managing climate change, relying solely on politicians and their limited resources is not enough. Science can provide insights into the problem but cannot generate the necessary funds to address it.

One promising solution is to leverage the power of entrepreneurship as small and medium enterprises SMEs are major contributors to national economies worldwide and have a proven track record of creating jobs and driving innovation. By mobilizing national entrepreneurialism, we can harness this power to address climate change in a scalable and sustainable way.

For over a century, the Olympic Games were not created by the finest athletes, best coaches, city councils, or national political leaders. Instead, they were brought to life by an organized force of entrepreneurial mysticism. Their mission was to bring together dozens of disciplines and the finest teams and coaches from over 200 nations. The games were fully commercialized and monetized, with all participants energized and spectacularly satisfied.

The centrifugal force for the global development of the Olympics was not athleticism but rather the mobilization of entrepreneurialism. The successful delivery of athleticism was its promise and its legendary global model with a long-term trajectory was a reward to humankind. A deeper study is strongly recommended.

Event after event, with complete protocols and funding from around the world, each event left solid footprints for continued productivity and value. Imagine if, a century ago, the best athletics teams with the best coaches, along with the leading political leaders of the day, had combined forces on this global journey. Would they have been like a lost circus in a rainforest or a wandering caravan in a desert?

Entrepreneurial Mysticism: Needed are guidelines and exploratory mechanisms to start with initial authoritative dialogues, critical thinking, and global expertise, all of which will lead to consensus on creating multiple entrepreneurial models and attracting SME representations to primarily exclusive narratives by the entrepreneurs for the entrepreneurs. Why Expothon has been sharing information weekly with some 2,000 senior officials at the Cabinet level in around 100 countries for the last 50 to 100 weeks?

Only such narratives will attract SME participation. Otherwise, they always shun away from bureaucracies, academia, and sciences. Entrepreneurial pragmatism will drive such an agenda with speed, quality control, and productivity with global transparency. The result may come out shocking, as 50% of global economies are run and influenced by the SMEs of the world. Securing and mobilizing this 50% force of the world, creating positive feedback, and regular mobilization with a comprehensive understanding of SME issues as a starting lead to responding to climate change challenges will be the greatest positive indicators so far.

Nothing is easy, but nothing is impossible: Well-planned and continuous planning makes it all easy. This is rule number one of entrepreneurial mysticism. A Cabinet-level discussion is a good start. The rest is easy.
