Rachel (@alltheradreads) shared the video with over 200,000 TikTok followers.

“My friends and I are having a Christmas brunch today and I asked that we make it a favorite things party too, I think it’s the most fun idea,” she explained.

The content creator added they decided to set a price limit of $10 for a group of six people.

Each participant must purchase five items of their favorite thing for under $10 to distribute to everyone.

For her gift idea, Rachel picked up five packs of her favorite pens from Target: “They’re these pastel gel ink pens and these post-its to annotate my books,” she said.

She also showed off what she received from her friends: “Ashely’s gift were these beaded bracelets and this little charcuterie ornament, adorable,” she said.

Her friend Leigh Anne gifted her a wine sweater along with winter-scented Febreeze.

She also received sheet masks, mud masks, a cream mask, and a sandwich spice blend.

People thanked her for the creative and affordable gift swap idea.

“I like this so much more than a White Elephant/gift swap because it is stuff people like already …thanks for sharing!” said one commenter.

“This was a fantastic idea and I love that nobody went rogue and went way over the spend limit,” said another.
