British teenager Mia Brookes landed a second Big Air World Cup podium finish inside a week by claiming a bronze medal in Copper Mountain, Colorado.
Brookes scored 155.75 over her three runs and came third behind Japanese pair Kokomo Murase and Mari Fukada.
The 16-year-old had registered her best World Cup finish in Edmonton, Canada last week, taking silver behind New Zealand’s Zoi Sadowski-Synnott.
Brookes has finished in the top five in all four Big Air competitions in 2023.
Cheshire-born Brookes became the youngest world champion in snowboard history with slopestyle gold in February.
She now sits top of the overall FIS (International Ski and Snowboard Federation) Park & Pipe rankings after three podium finishes in five events.
Britain’s Zoe Atkin also secured a podium finish with bronze in the halfpipe freestyle skiing, behind winner Eileen Gu of China and Hanna Faulhaber of the United States.
In the men’s event, the USA’s Red Gerard, 2018 slopestyle Olympic champion, finished third behind Japanese winner Hiroaki Kunitake and 18-year-old Sam Vermaat of the Netherlands.
