The Scottish presenter had been scouring the Haute-Vienne region of France to find a dream home for married couple Gary and Lynn.

The pair told her they wanted a three-bedroom property that cost £120,000 or under, with a big kitchen and garden.
Danni dutifully found a selection of options she felt met their criteria, but it was when they set foot in the third property that the guests were blown away.
Gary gushed: “This ticks every box for us. Before, we were trying to work out how we could make the other ones work for us.
“This just works for us, it’s perfect. The location, across the road into the beautiful walk, the storage space that we’ve got and the house is beautiful.”
His wife agreed that this was the perfect spot for them to start their new life.
The beaming presenter then asked what the couple wanted to do now they had found their dream home.
Danni was shocked to hear Lynn say they were already ready to put in an offer on the house.
Taken aback, she queried: “What, right now? No, you don’t, do you actually? You want to do it right now?”
Typically guests on A Place in the Sun take a couple of days to think after seeing properties and weigh up their options.
But Gary agreed with his wife on the snap decision, saying: “We’ve talked about it, we know the area pretty well. I think we’d be happy to make an offer on this place now.”
He explained that they would only get stressed if they slept on the decision, and were certain the home was exactly what they’d envisioned.
Still blown away, the show host exclaimed: “Right now! Oh my gosh, ok. Absolutely love it.”
Danni found a quiet spot to ring the estate agent and make an initial offer of £100,000, which was rejected.
But the couple were not deterred, sharing: “We like the property so much, we’re prepared for a few more thousand pounds if we had to, but anything we spend more now will eat into the budget for what we want to do.”
In the end they settled for a counteroffer of £105,000 with a lawnmower thrown in.
Gary and Lynn were left over the moon after the experience, with the hubby saying: “Fabulous, thank you very much. I’m really excited, I’m shaking!”
