The European Cross Country Championships take place in Belgium on Sunday, and BBC Sport has live coverage on its digital platforms.
A team of 40 will represent Great Britain and Northern Ireland for individual and team medals.
The senior men’s team in Brussels will be headed by trials winner Hugo Milner, while Zak Mahamed, last year’s under-23 silver medallist, and Callum Elson also feature.
The senior women’s squad includes Jessica Warner-Judd and Abbie Donnelly, who finished eighth and ninth respectively last year and helped Britain win the team silver medal.
Megan Keith, who dominated the women’s trial race in Liverpool, will be aiming to win the under-23 title having taken silver in Turin last December, while last year’s men’s under-20 champion Will Barnicoat steps up to the under-23 division.
Great Britain is by far the most successful nation in the history of the championships, topping the medal table at 17 of the last 19 editions, including last year in Italy. They have won 75 gold medals and 177 medals in total.
Notable successes have included former world marathon record-holder Paula Radcliffe winning individual senior gold in 1998 and 2003, as well as Sir Mo Farah, who won his first major senior title at the 2006 championships.
Norway’s Karoline Bjerkeli Grovdal is seeking a hat-trick of titles in the senior women’s race, but compatriot Jakob Ingebrigtsen will not be bidding to retain his title in the men’s event.
