Paramedics have assessed at least 60 people after a truck and bus collided on the Pacific Motorway at Stapylton this morning.

Emergency services were called to the crash just before the Jacobs Well exit at about 9.40am.

A Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) spokeswoman said paramedics had assessed 60 patients with three people in a serious but stable condition and four more in a stable condition. 

The back of the bus was damaged in the incident.(ABC News)

One stable patient was transported to Gold Coast University Hospital with facial injuries.

One person has lower limb and head injuries and one person is in a serious condition, according to QAS.

Two lanes of traffic have been closed because of the crash.
